Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or PSS

Allpro Homecare is looking for an Experienced CNA or PSS to become part of our team and join our mission of providing quality non-medical homecare to our veteran population.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet
  • Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair
  • Performs housekeeping duties
  • Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
  • Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Current state license in good standing as a CNA or
  • Current state license in good standing as a PSS
  • 1 year experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare agency setting
  • Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation
  • Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
  • Adequate physical endurance
