Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
  • Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date clinical records, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaboratively work with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care, integrating input from other healthcare professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness.
  • Actively participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health research and therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our licensed counselors will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals, families, and couples facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Walden Diagnostic and Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
