Ashleigh Mooney - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships with our customers. We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. This position plays an important role in keeping our office connected with our current customers.

The primary responsibility of this role is proactively scheduling appointments with existing customers for policy and insurance needs reviews.

The ideal candidate is comfortable making outbound calls, enjoys talking with people, and can confidently manage a busy appointment calendar. In addition to appointment scheduling, this person will help create a welcoming, organized, and positive office environment by assisting with social media, office supplies, customer service, and team celebrations and activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively contact current customers to schedule appointments with the agent and team for policy reviews and insurance needs discussions.
  • Maintain and manage the appointment calendar, including confirming appointments and following up as needed.
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone and connect them with the appropriate team member.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with incoming customer questions and requests.
  • Maintain accurate customer information and assist with office communications and follow-up.
  • Manage the agency's social media presence, including helping create, schedule, and post engaging content across social media platforms.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Keep the office stocked with coffee, drinks, snacks, and other everyday necessities.
  • Keep track of team birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and other special occasions.
  • Help plan fun office activities, celebrations, contests, and team-building events that contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist the agent, office manager, and team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Help maintain a professional, organized, welcoming, and upbeat office environment.
Qualifications:
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers by phone.
  • Confident making outbound calls and asking customers to schedule appointments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and follow through on tasks.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Creative and comfortable assisting with social media content and office activities.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn CRM and scheduling systems.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling customer information.
