Position Summary
JRP is seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist to support multiple departments by accurately entering, reviewing, and validating critical business data. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity across systems as we roll out new software and improve internal processes.
You will work with information from sales and operations teams, including customer records, shipping details, fleet and asset data, and barcode identifiers. The ideal candidate is highly accurate, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
This is a temporary assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs, making it an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career, currently in college, or looking to break into a tech-adjacent or data-focused role.

Compensation Range
$18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain business data across internal systems and software platforms
- Review and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Work with information from sales, operations, and logistics teams including customer data, ship-to locations, fleet details, and barcode records
- Identify and correct data discrepancies or errors
- Support data migration and system updates during software rollout initiatives
- Maintain organized digital records and documentation
- Collaborate with internal departments to clarify and verify information
- Follow established data entry procedures and quality standards
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive business data
- Assist with reporting, data cleanup, and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Previous data entry experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy required
- Ability to review, validate, and ensure consistency of data
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Basic understanding of spreadsheets and data formatting
- Familiarity with Excel formulas is a plus (not required)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple data sources and prioritize tasks
- College students or early-career candidates encouraged to apply
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
