As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Victory Mind, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Providing group, family, couples, and individual therapy sessions, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are suited to varied client backgrounds and situations.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care and sharing insights that promote effective treatment pathways.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities through workshops and training sessions, staying abreast of the latest developments in mental health research.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in clinical settings.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team, enhancing the overall care experience.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following specialized experience are highly preferred:

• Expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care.
• Background in working with underrepresented communities or populations with unique mental health challenges.
