Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists (CVSS) is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to lead our Client Service and Receiving Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinary professional who enjoys coaching and developing team members, improving workflow, and creating an outstanding experience for clients, patients, and employees.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and support a team of Client Service Representatives and Receiving Technicians
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture
  • Train, mentor, coach, and develop team members
  • Participate in hiring and employee development
  • Monitor workflow and patient flow to ensure an exceptional client experience
  • Help implement process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Address employee and client concerns professionally and effectively
  • Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and hospital leadership to support patient care and hospital operations

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 3 years of veterinary experience
  • Specialty and/or emergency veterinary experience preferred
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits
CVSS offers competitive compensation based on experience, skill level, leadership ability, and overall qualifications. Starting pay will be determined in accordance with the hospital's established compensation structure and pay scale.
In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, continuing education opportunities, paid time off, uniform allowance, health insurance and 401K matching.
Schedule
Primarily Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, x4 (10hr) days, with occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
