Join the vibrant team at Screaming Tuna, an award-winning Sushi & Asian Bistro located along the picturesque Milwaukee Riverwalk. Known for our sustainable seafood and inventive menu, which features sushi, short ribs, vegan, and gluten-free options, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional dining experience. As a Hot Line Chef, you will be an essential part of our fast-paced kitchen, working alongside talented chefs to create outstanding dishes in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook hot menu items, including short ribs, stir-fry, soups, rice dishes, and hot tapas.
  • Maintain cooking stations and ensure efficiency during service.
  • Plate and present dishes in an appealing and standardized format.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide timely and quality service.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and Seafood Watch sourcing standards.
  • Support cross-training in other kitchen roles as desired.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a hot line cook in a high-volume, fine-dining, or upscale casual restaurant.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of hot-food preparation.
