Summary

The Valet's primary objective is to provide a positive impression to the guests upon arriving and leaving. Candidates for this position must have outstanding guest service skills and easy scheduling including weekends and holidays. Must be able to stand, run, and walk on pavement for six consecutive hours or more per shift. Parking Valet Attendants must be comfortable driving exotic vehicles and able to control manual transmission vehicles.


The ideal candidate will perform these tasks while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with ACI Jet's employees, vendors, and clients by personally performing these duties or through subordinate staff members.

The Valet will report directly to the Valet Supervisor


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned as required by management)

  • Greet customers in a pleasant manner and inquire into their car parking needs
  • Provide customers with information on valet parking fees
  • Provide luggage assistance out of vehicle
  • Provide luggage assistance into aircraft
  • Provide customers with a receipt in exchange of handed-over keys
  • Drive customers' vehicles to designated parking locations in a safe manner
  • Ascertain that vehicles are properly parked in designated lots and locked before being left alone
  • Take receipt tags from customers, locate their cars and drive them to the waiting areas
  • Ascertain that keys and remotes are returned as soon as the car is handed over
  • Ascertain the cleanliness and maintenance of parking lots to ensure both customer and vehicle safety
  • Maintaining a positive relationship with customers and vendors alike

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 50 - 70lbs.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs while responding quickly and positively.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete assignments within deadlines.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and independently, in a high stress and fast paced environment-ability to focus during busy periods throughout the month and year.
  • Must be highly motivated and organized, as well as have extreme attention to detail.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
