In addition to competitive pay and benefits, we provide a safe and inclusive work environment that appreciates diversity, promotes development and allows our associates to be their authentic selves. </div><div> <strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Warehouse Utility</strong></div><div> </div><div><strong>Your New BBU Career Highlights:</strong></div><div> </div><ul><li>$22.16 per hour starting pay!</li><li>Shift: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, starting between 9:00 am and 11:00 am and ending between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.</li><li>Days Off: Tuesday and Saturday.</li><li><span>Benefits subject to collective bargaining agreement terms: Pension, Medical, Dental, Holidays, Paid Time Off.</span></li><li>Wellness and Discount Programs</li></ul><div> </div><div><br></div><div><strong>What you can expect: </strong></div><ul><li>Maintain good customer relations and effective communication with team members. </li><li>Responsible for delivery and unloading of product to customers’ stockrooms.</li><li>Pick up return product and empty trays; transport and unload back at Sales Center.</li><li>Ensure that product distribution is accomplished to customer satisfaction and communicate any customer concerns/issues to BBU manager. </li><li>Represent BBU as a leader in the baking business.</li><li>Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT (US Department of Transportation) daily logs.</li><li>Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers, verifying route load(s), trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard.  </li><li>Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate records, report overages and shortages, & participate in "Cycle Counts".  </li><li>Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jack, forklift, etc.  </li><li>Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.  </li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><div> </div><div><strong>What we need from you:</strong></div><ul><li> 21 years of age or older.</li><li>Class C License required.</li><li>Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.</li><li>Successfully able to obtain Chauffer License (If job location is in IN, MI, TN).</li><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Maintain records required by the company and the FMCSR.</li><li>Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.</li><li>Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.  </li><li>Comfortable in a warm working environment.  </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively in English.  </li><li>Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.  </li></ul><div> </div><div>The physical and mental demands described in each job posting are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of each job.
