Job description

Overview: Provide essential help desk support across all business units, with a special focus on the trading desk and related systems. This position requires working with modern technology, particularly in Windows system administration and systems support, in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·Provide on-site support in New York and remote assistance to other locations.

·Support trading, operations, and accounting systems for the firm.

·Administer Active Directory, O365, and other SaaS platforms.

·Support trading applications and systems, such as Charles River, Bloomberg, EMSX, FIX, REDI, and ITG Triton.

·Collaborate with the IT team to ensure high-quality service for end users.

·Improve help desk efficiency and maintain high system performance standards.

·Provide off-hours/weekend support as needed.

·Work to minimize system errors and ensure optimal system functionality.

·Contribute to maintaining high standards within the IT organization.

·Continuously improve IT processes and procedures for accuracy and efficiency.

·Manage and resolve tickets within the Jira Helpdesk queue in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Requirements:

·Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.

·Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·Proficient in supporting various hedge fund applications and market data platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters).

·Knowledge of O365, SharePoint, SAML, Active Directory, DNS & DHCP.

·Experience with Citrix and VDA.

·Experience with Linux/Unix systems.

·Familiarity with AI technologies (MS Co-Pilot, Chat GPT) is a plus.

·Proficient in PowerShell and Python is a plus.

·Experience supporting mobile devices (iPhone, iPad & Android).

·Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and build relationships across the firm.

·Attention to detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality work.

·Ability to meet strict deadlines, manage time efficiently, and adapt to a fast-paced, stressful environment.
