What is the difference between Weekend Truck Relocation vs Truck Driver?

CredentialsCommercial Driver's License (CDL), relocation permitsCDL, driving experience
Work EnvironmentShort-term, on-demand relocations, often local or regionalLonger routes, highway driving, various locations

Weekend Truck Relocation involves short-term, often local or regional moves primarily focused on relocating trucks or cargo during weekends. Truck Drivers typically handle longer routes, transporting goods across states or nationally. While both roles require a CDL and involve driving, Weekend Truck Relocation emphasizes quick, scheduled moves, whereas Truck Drivers focus on ongoing freight delivery. Understanding these differences helps job seekers find roles aligned with their skills and preferences.

What company in Texas is paying truckers $14000 a week?

There are no widely verified companies offering truck drivers $14,000 per week for weekend truck relocation jobs. Such high weekly pay rates are uncommon and may be associated with specialized or high-risk hauling, but they are not typical for standard truck relocation roles. Job seekers should verify offers and ensure they meet safety and licensing requirements before accepting high-paying trucking positions.

What is the 60 70 rule in trucking?

The 60/70 rule in trucking refers to a guideline for driver hours, suggesting that drivers should not drive more than 60 hours in 7 consecutive days or 70 hours in 8 days to ensure safety and compliance with hours-of-service regulations. For a weekend truck relocation job, understanding this rule helps plan routes and rest periods to stay within legal limits and avoid penalties.
