Worcester, MA |Openings for 2PM–8PM Shifts | 10–30 Hours/Week

Join Autism Therapeutic Services (ATS) and start or grow your career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As a Behavioral Technician (BT), you’ll work directly with clients ages 2-26 to build skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and empower families.

Important: This is a direct-care role working with children and families—not a data analyst or administrative position.

Hiring Location

We are currently hiring Behavioral Technicians (BTs) in Worcester, MA.

Reliable transportation is required, as you’ll travel to client homes, schools, and community settings.

What You’ll Do

As a Behavioral Technician (BT), you’ll implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to help clients learn new skills and thrive. You’ll work closely with Behavior Analysts, caregivers, and other team members to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement ABA techniques 1:1 or in groups to build skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

  • Collect and record accurate behavioral data to track progress.

  • Support caregivers in following treatment plans.

  • Collaborate with Behavior Analysts, Lead Technicians, and teammates to refine client programs.

  • Follow safety and intervention protocols while maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment.

  • Participate in training and professional development to grow your skills.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).

  • Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to client sites.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain in active positions for extended periods.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.

  • Experience working with children in classroom or 1:1 settings.

  • Familiarity with ABA principles.

Training & Certifications

  • CPR and background check required.

  • RBT Certification – Sponsored by ATS for all BTs.

  • Ongoing professional development to keep skills current.
