To thrive as a Weekend Travel RBT, you need a solid understanding of applied behavior analysis principles, completion of a 40-hour training program, and an active RBT certification. Familiarity with data collection software, electronic health records, and ABA assessment tools is typically expected. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently are crucial soft skills in this role. These skills ensure effective client support, accurate data reporting, and adaptability to new environments or client needs while traveling.

What is a Weekend Travel RBT?

A Weekend Travel RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) is a behavioral health professional who provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to clients, typically children with autism spectrum disorder, on weekends and often travels to clients' homes or different locations.
