Job description

Position Summary
The New Home Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving home sales, and building strong, lasting relationships with realtors and prospective buyers. This position is critical to maintaining the presentation and professionalism of Hunter Quinn Homes communities, guiding buyers through the home buying process, and contributing to the achievement of company sales goals. The New Home Consultant plays a key role in converting leads and prospects into satisfied customers, generating referrals, and cultivating strategic relationships with both customers and real estate professionals to support the overall growth and success of the organization.
Responsibilities
Sales Office amp; Community Management
  • Be onsite and available during all posted business hours, arriving 15 minutes early to open the model home and remaining onsite until the scheduled closing time.
  • Conduct regular community and model home inspections to identify and report maintenance or repair needs, ensuring the best possible first impression for all visitors.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of sales collateral, marketing materials, and office supplies, and assist with marketing initiatives as needed.
Realtor amp; Community Engagement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local real estate agents through office visits, prospecting calls, and attending networking events to strengthen brand awareness and community visibility.
Customer Engagement amp; Sales
  • Greet prospective buyers warmly and guide them through the sales process, highlighting the benefits of owning a Hunter Quinn Homes property.
  • Respond promptly to all customer leads and inquiries; conduct timely follow-up activities to assist potential buyers through their decision-making process.
  • Facilitate the completion of all necessary purchase documents, ensuring thorough explanation of contracts and maintaining organized, accurate records in the lot filing system.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve sales performance by attending training courses and participating in company-sponsored development opportunities.
Construction amp; Buyer Communication
  • Conduct weekly community meetings with the Project Manager and provide weekly construction updates to buyers, agents, and lenders.
  • Distribute all contract documents to appropriate parties, including buyers, agents, lenders, and closing attorneys, and assist buyers with scheduling necessary appointments.
Collaboration amp; Communication
  • Work closely with sales leadership to monitor and achieve sales goals and proactively communicate customer needs to internal departments for timely resolution.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Appropriate real estate license or certifications as required by the state.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Previous new home sales or real estate experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work weekends and attend occasional after-hours events.
