CNC Lathe Setup/Operator – Hazelwood, MO Direct Hire Position
Full-Time | Day Shift | Pay Based on Experience

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Lathe Setup/Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced machining environment, takes pride in producing quality work, and can efficiently manage projects while collaborating with toolmakers, machinists, and production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Work closely with department leaders to meet daily production goals.
  • Assist toolmakers and machinists with projects as needed.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and support special projects.
  • Maintain a professional, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, plant policies, and work instructions.
  • Support quality standards within an ISO 9001:2015 certified environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous CNC lathe setup and/or operation experience required.
  • Technical school training or a Precision Machining certificate is preferred.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Experience with metalworking, tool and die, or metal stamping industries is a plus.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong math, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and work independently with minimal supervision.
