Floor Specialist – Mobile Floor Care Team

Location: Multiple Client Sites (Mobile Unit)
Schedule: Primarily Evening Shifts (Most shifts begin at 6:00 PM; schedule may vary based on client needs)

Position Summary
TMMG Building Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Floor Specialist to join our Mobile Floor Care Team. This position is responsible for providing specialized floor maintenance services at various customer locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial floor care, including stripping and waxing, carpet maintenance, and terrazzo floor restoration and upkeep.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform floor stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing on various floor surfaces.
• Clean, maintain, and restore terrazzo flooring.
• Operate commercial carpet extraction and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Burnish and maintain VCT, tile, and other hard floor surfaces.
• Properly use floor care chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment and supplies to client locations.
• Complete assigned projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Follow all company safety policies and client site requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status and site needs.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial floor care experience preferred.
• Experience with stripping and waxing floors required.
• Experience with carpet extraction and terrazzo maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate floor machines, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and extraction equipment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client locations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule

• Most shifts begin at 6:00 PM.
• Start times and work hours may fluctuate based on client schedules, project requirements, and business needs.
• Occasional weekend or alternative shift availability may be required.
