Opportunity:
Cardiovascular Surgical Tech - CV Tech
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour variable shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP
• Required to take 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 backup per week
• Must respond within 30 minutes for call-back and be ready in OR within that timeframe
• Work every 3rd weekend with holiday rotation requirements
• May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed
• Must have 2+ years of CVOR experience and prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted), AHA or ARC certifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certificate preferred
• Set up operative suites for patients and ensure all supplies are available through case cart management
• Scrub surgical cases across variety of specialties and manage room turnover for multiple procedures
• Work with 3 cardiothoracic surgeons handling approximately 50-60 cases per month
• Cardiac/Thoracic skills required with thoracic robot experience preferred
• Must be flexible, motivated during downtime, and willing to perform tasks like pulling case carts and cleaning
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must maintain 50-mile radius rule from facility
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
