Position:                     Special Education Inclusion Teacher

                                    Jones County High School
 

Effective Date:2026-2027  School Year to begin on July 29, 2026

Job Description:        

PRIMARY FUNCTION:  This is a full time teaching position to begin on July 29, 2026.  Grade level and teaching assignment to be determined.  Applicants must hold or be eligible for Georgia Certification in Special Education (6-12) and meet the Professional Qualifications for the position.

Qualifications:

Credential:     Valid Georgia Credential or license authorizing service in grade levels and areas assigned.

Education:     Bachelor's degree, including all courses to meet credential requirements.

Experience:    Student teaching, internship, or full-time teaching experience.

Terms of Employment: 190-day contract. State salary schedule, plus local supplement

Selection Procedure: Consideration/interviews will begin as soon as a list of qualified applicants is established. Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.
