High-Reach Fulfillment: Temporary Stock Picker Operators Wanted in Pierce County!
Are you an experienced, safety-minded equipment operator with recent hands-on time commanding a stock picker / order picker? American Workforce Group has partnered with a fast-paced logistics distribution hub in Pierce County, WA to hire dedicated, high-efficiency Stock Picker Operators for an immediate temporary/seasonal production run. If you thrive in a high-volume warehouse, master RF scanner workflows, and bring high physical stamina to every shift, we want you on the floor!
Description for Stock Picker Operator:
  • Operate a Stock Picker safely to locate, replenish, and pick warehouse inventory using an RF scanner gun.
  • Fulfill customer orders with high accuracy while meeting strict daily productivity and quality standards.
  • Hit initial target productivity rates of 25-35 cartons per hour on day one, scaling smoothly up to 50-70 cartons per hour within week one.
  • Follow company order-picking and inventory procedures exactly to maintain zero-defect accuracy.
  • Perform essential general warehouse labor as needed-including hand-stacking boxes, freight handling, and pallet teardowns.
  • Maintain high situational awareness, strictly follow facility safety policies, and wear a required face mask while on-site.

Details for Stock Picker Operator:
  • Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour.
  • Position Type: Temporary / Seasonal.
  • Shift Hours: Full-time hours (Specific shift schedules will be finalized during the interview process).
  • Location: Pierce County, WA.

Requirements for Stock Picker Operator:
  • STRICT REQUIREMENT: Recent hands-on Stock Picker operating experience is strictly REQUIRED. *(Standard forklift experience alone does NOT qualify).*
  • Proven experience utilizing RF scanners for order picking and inventory staging in a warehouse environment.
  • Reach Truck operating experience is a major plus (though not required).
  • Flexibility and willingness to handle both heavy equipment operations and manual general labor/freight stacking.
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift/move warehouse products continuously throughout the shift.
  • Must possess a clean background check (no significant red flags).
  • Team-first attitude with a proven track record of reliable daily attendance and high punctuality.
