Job description

Shift:

  • 7:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. (Mon-Fri)


Overview

The Order Picker position is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, packing, wrapping, and labeling products for shipment within a fast-paced logistics and warehouse environment. This position helps ensure customer orders are completed accurately, safely, and on time while maintaining established productivity and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pick products from designated warehouse locations according to customer orders or pick lists.
  • Verify product numbers, quantities, and order accuracy before packing.
  • Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials, and label, seal, wrap, and prepare packages for shipment.
  • Scan products and update inventory using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
  • Sort and stage completed orders in designated shipping areas.
  • Inspect products for damage, defects, or incorrect items and report discrepancies.
  • Operate a Manual Pallet Jack to assist with loading, unloading, and transporting picked items
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, inventory counts, and other warehouse duties as needed.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Shipping & Receiving departments within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
  • Proven experience picking and packing
  • Proven experience operating a Manual Pallet Jack
  • Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and strong attention to detail
  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to perform repetitive picking, packing, and material-handling tasks.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures and noise levels may vary.
