PharmaceuticalBrand Manager/Senior Brand Manager

Azurity is seeking a complement to the Marketing Team with someone who brings pharmaceutical brand experience coupled with execution excellence to optimize the commercial strategy. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing company in a nichemarket.

Responsibilities:

  • Garner insights to develop, implement and execute brand (and portfolio) strategy.
  • Conducts competitive analysis, market research and formulates the best approach for the positioning of products.
  • Develops timely, comprehensive and well-supported competitive project strategies.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound advertising and promotional activities including print, online, electronic media and direct mail. Oversee development and production of promotional and collateral materials using internal creative graphic artists and external agency partners.
  • Participate in the creation, development and implementation of the key customer (HCP, Pharmacist, Patients/Caregivers) plans that increase brand awareness and accelerate profitable revenue growth.
  • Develop messaging for key tactical programs that drive market volume. Work with commercial operations and tactical vendors to analyze and track KPIs and ROI in order to optimize execution of plan.
  • Look for new innovative ideas and leverage customer insights to meet the needs of key stakeholders.
  • Continually assess competitive marketplace to anticipate future landscape and prepare and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Manage the Promotional Materials Review process from development through approval. Ensure the timely and efficient review of promotional materials that comply with legal, regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Manage monthly budget of tactical planning and budget reconciliation.
  • Work with sales training, commercial, medical and legal team on commercial training.
  • Responsible for social media optimization and execution among primary social channels, corporate events and website presence.
  • Help train and mentor new Product Managers in critical product manager skills

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years pharmaceutical industry marketing experience and a working knowledge of marketing principles, including principles of brand management, professional promotion, patient education and the sales process.
  • Demonstrated success promoting and pharmaceutical/medical products in challenging environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex challenges and strategically plan to overcome obstacles and capitalize on opportunities in challenging situations.
  • Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring brand plans, budgets and management of external agencies.
  • Ability and willingness to work effectively and seamlessly at multiple 'altitudes' within the organization. Maintains a 'no job is too big or too small' attitude necessary to succeed in a start-up environment.
  • Flexible and able to execute within a dynamic, at times ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment with agility.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written coupled with strong knowledge of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Independent, self-starter, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with and present to senior management and executives across all company functions.
  • Experience working closely with all sales force counterparts and gaining insights for sales force needs.
  • Experience tracking and managing budgets with finance counterparts.
  • Experience implementing innovative digital and omnichannel strategies and tactical executions.
  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred.
  • Position Location:Flexible between both in-office campus (Boston or Atlanta) and virtual in-home office.
  • Travel Requirements:Travel up to approximately 35% of the time including occasional weekend travel. This includes travel across multiple office locations for internal meetings, to conferences/conventions, and occasional field to visits to customers.
