Job description

Position Summary
An ideal candidate will be safety conscience, dependable, and motivated. The maintenance technician position is responsible for safely maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment. Essential duties align with maintenance goals of improving plant reliability, equipment optimization, and continuous improvement efforts. These responsibilities require technicians to respond to emergency work throughout the plant while also adhering to scheduled corrective and preventative tasks to ensure machine availability and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Functions
· Follow all safety procedures, promote safe work practices, and report hazards.
· Adhere to WMS maintenance processes to support safe and efficient operations.
· Work proactively to meet maintenance KPI targets.
· Learn and support optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Tactical
· Perform repairs on rotating and mechanical equipment (pumps, motors, gear reducers, conveyors, etc.).
· Complete preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
· Support facility repairs and improvements to maintain a safe work environment.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues during upset conditions.
· Perform fabrication, welding, cutting, and equipment installation as needed.
· Use CMMS for accurate work order, material, and labor documentation.
· Communicate hazardous or unsafe conditions to management.

Candidates experience and knowledgeable skills will be used in determining appropriate Tech Level/Pay Rate.
Work will take place primarily in a manufacturing environment. Employees may be required to work weekends, holidays and be on-call, on occasion.
