Job Description Ready to make a difference? BAE Systems is looking for Systems Engineers to work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test next generation EW systems. Focused on delivering innovative Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions, individual technical contributions on a related range of Programs will include system development, requirements development, integration & test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment. Responsibilities may include: * Leading a medium or large team of Systems Engineers on EW related programs
* Managing all system engineering content and work products
* Understanding and implementing the product development process
* Schedule and cost account responsibilities for systems team
* Execution of systems planning and requirements development
* Creation and review of systems requirements to include, software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts
* Allocation of requirements to engineering disciplines
* Creating system test plans, procedures and reports
* Leading product design, development, integration, and verification
* Will have outside contact with customers, other contractors and government officials.
* Manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
* Preparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers.
* Monitor and report metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures
* Supports proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities. This position will require you to be onsite in either Nashua NH or Manchester NH. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor's Degree of Science (or equivalent experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience of:
* 6+ Years with BS
* 4+ Years with MS
* 2+ Year with PHD
* Active Secret DoW clearance
* Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
* Expert in effectively documenting, communicating, leading and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations.
* Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
* Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline and 7 years of experience or Ph.D. with 4 years of experience.
* Project/Program team member responsible for workflow, which is dynamic in nature. * Experience with EW and/or Radar and Missile Systems
* Experience with technical performance measurements and cost account management.
* Model based systems engineering experience with tools such as MagicDraw.
* Familiarity or experience with Agile Systems Engineering#ECSSE Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
