Job description

Position Overview

Trillium Therapy Group is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our innovative virtual team, facilitating mental health services from the comfort of your home in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual committed to helping young adults navigate their mental health journeys while enjoying a healthy work-life balance with no evening or weekend commitments.

About the Organization

At Trillium Therapy Group, we consider ourselves more than just a mental health treatment provider. We are a vibrant community enriched by diversity and fueled by a shared mission to inspire change, unlock potential, and drive healing in the lives of our clients. Our team is passionate about fostering a supportive culture that not only impacts our clients' lives but also nurtures our staff’s professional growth and personal well-being.

Work Environment

This role is remote and utilizes telehealth technology, allowing you to work with clients across Illinois from your own home. You will be part of a collaborative team that values open communication and teamwork, ensuring that client care is holistic and coordinated. This innovative approach to therapy includes working with other skilled professionals, creating a synergistic environment that enhances the therapeutic process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group therapy sessions where young adults can come together to share and discuss their experiences, facilitated by your expert guidance.
  • Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide one-on-one counseling, utilizing empathetic listening skills to help clients explore their emotional and mental challenges and develop actionable coping strategies.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to establish individualized treatment plans that are both goal-oriented and reflective of their unique needs and preferences.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track client progress through various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure each client receives comprehensive and effective care, coordinating treatment efforts and consulting on challenging cases.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily support young adults grappling with mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and transitional life stressors. Your focus will be on building therapeutic relationships by offering meaningful interventions, creating a safe space for expression, and empowering clients towards recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
  • Valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing mental health treatment in either residential or outpatient settings.
  • A collaborative approach with strong communication skills, demonstrating a passion for helping clients achieve transformative change.
  • Proficient in therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
Preferred Experience

While we value all relevant experience, candidates with a background in treating young adults or those with mood disorders will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience working in digital mental health environments will also be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, reflecting your experience and contributions to our mission. Additionally, our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to cover you and your family’s health needs.
  • Short-term and long-term disability, along with life insurance for added financial security.
  • A 401k plan with a company match of up to 5% to support your future savings goals.
  • Four weeks of paid time off annually, including floating holidays, fostering a strong work-life balance.
  • A robust Employee Assistance Program providing access to counseling services, legal consultations, and financial planning support.
  • Ongoing education and Continuing Education Unit (CEU) support, as well as free clinical supervision, promoting your professional development.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Trillium Therapy Group, we are committed to helping you advance in your career. With opportunities for ongoing training and leadership development, you can expect to grow your skills in clinical practice and possibly take on more responsibilities within the team. Your development is essential to our success and the well-being of our clients.
