Job description

RN - PCU

This position is for a registered nurse in a progressive care unit. The unit has a focus on high-acuity patients. Common diagnoses include chest pain, stroke, trauma, respiratory illnesses, and various medical-surgical conditions. The candidate will work with a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position requires effective communication and teamwork. Nurses are expected to respond to patient needs promptly. Support staff, including CNAs, respiratory therapists, and phlebotomists, will be available. The department values teamwork and timely responses to all patient calls. Nurses will float to other medical-surgical and critical care areas as needed.
