Job description

Subtitling Coordinator
Adecco is looking for people with strong Subtitling Coordinator skills who will be responsible for coordinating orders and projects for a media client in the Burbank, CA area! This is a temporary assignment.
Responsibilities:

  • Own setting up and coordinating subtitling projects in the client’s proprietary cloud-based platform for localization services

  • Be responsible for on-time delivery of quality subtitle files, strictly respecting client deadlines and specifications

  • Interpret incoming details of project specifications to ensure projects are set up and executed accurately, following established workflows

  • Ensure that production teams and external freelance resources are clearly and accurately informed of all client requirements for each project and comply with the requirements

  • Collaborate with Client Services, production teams, freelancers and territory affiliates regarding project status and requirements, obtaining and circulating all necessary information

  • Proactively identify potential issues/problems with projects in progress, troubleshooting and escalating to team management when necessary

  • Resolve technical flags and pending queries from internal production departments and external stakeholders (e.g.: translators, territory approvers)

  • Manage custom payments for atypical tasks performed by freelance resources

  • Collaborate on production-related initiatives to drive customer satisfaction

  • Maintain a flexible work schedule according to business needs

Requirements:

  • Experience or knowledgeable about various localization workflows with emphasis on subtitling for all media & entertainment distribution channels

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and demonstrate the ability to handle self professionally in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Must be organized, reliable, conscientious, and flexible

  • Skilled at multi-tasking, working effectively under pressure and possessing strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Have previously managed projects within localization, and ideally subtitling workflows

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills across all levels (verbal, written)

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality of customer/client sensitive information.

  • You can work independently and take ownership of projects

  • Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines

  • Background in audio-visual and film production/post-production that will help you in day-to-day coordination of assigned projects

  • Sound technical knowledge and excellent command of Microsoft Windows systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google G-Suite

  • Previous experience on cloud-based platforms for localization services

  • Knowledge of or interest in any foreign language is an advantage

  • Ability to work in office on specified days, with additional on-site attendance as required by project demands.

 
 Shifts Available:
Shifts are available from Monday – Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., (schedule may vary/hybrid schedule)

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
