Job description

We are hiring for a High School Student enrolled in the Youth Apprenticeship Program to perform the following Teller duties:

  • Accurately processing teller transactions and performing all other aspects of a Bank Teller.
  • Providing quality customer service in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
  • Determining the customers' needs and meeting their expectations by recommending appropriate products and services or making referrals to appropriate bank personnel.

In addition, the Youth Apprentice will learn to follow all established bank policies and procedures, maintain cash drawer within established limits through buying and selling cash, process deposits & withdraws, cash checks, issue Cashier Checks, accept a variety of payments, process coin order and cash advance requests, accurately perform proof duties, balance ATM, and scan & file documents appropriately.

Tellers must possess high attention to detail, be diligent with compliance regulations, handle customer account inquires promptly and professionally and demonstrate a willingness to learn about banking.

Previous cash handling and/or customer service experience strongly preferred.

Anticipated start date to be June/July 2026 and will run through the 2026-2027 school year.

Must be available to work 2-3 Saturdays per month.
