We're seeking a Records Center Specialist. In this role, you will work quickly and safely to handle products within the warehouse to ensure accurate processing from facility to facility. Must have physical strength and stamina, as you will be required to move objects from one place to another, as well as endurance, as sometimes you will walk/stand for up to 8 hours
What You Will Be Doing
  • Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
  • Perform general warehouse activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory, and weighing and checking materials.
  • Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
  • Ensuring that the product/inventory is well-organized and maintained by using strong attention to detail
  • Loading and Offloading trucks that transport inventory into the warehouse
  • Regularly lifting and carrying items that weigh 35-40 points and occasionally up to 51 lbs. This sometimes is at shoulder height.
  • Operating small machines including pallet jacks
  • Using tools including box cutters, tape guns and dispensers, staplers, etc
  •  Loading, unloading, and pushing/pulling a cart or pallet (with jack) weighing up to 1500 lbs
  • Anticipates problems, catches errors, and takes action to complete tasks accurately and on time as well as communities on ways to improve quality and productivity

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, move boxes to/from pallets, and safely navigate a warehouse environment.
