Job description

Merchandiser in the Center Store Non-Perishable Department, responsible for a designated merchandise area, and working during regular store hours.
This person's primary duties include:
  • Assume duties related to the Center Store Specialty Foods Vendors (Kehe, Lipari, Meximar)
  • Communicating with the sales representative of each respective vendor to ensure minimal to no out of stocks, proper stock level, managing promotions and special buy-ins, inventory management, and rotation
  • Stocking product upon receipt at store
  • Ordering firms with respective vendor, holiday orders as needed.
  • Ensure freshness in the center store merchandise through the use of the Date Check Pro software
  • Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned.

Qualifications:
  1. Availability: Must be available to be scheduled between 35+ hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
  2. Previous Work Experience: Ordering and stocking experience preferred; we will train
  3. Physical Demands: Repetitive lifting to 50#; occasional lifting to 80#.

Other Work Considerations: Customer service orientation; able to work with minimal supervision; organizational ability; reliable; dependable.
