Job description

Full Stack Software Engineer, Offensive Cyber Platforms
Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
At Intelliforce, we build software that helps mission teams operate faster, smarter, and with more precision in high-consequence environments. In this role, you will develop and maintain large-scale, distributed web applications that support mission tooling, high-performance data processing, and cloud-native operations. This is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys modern full stack development, scalable backend architecture, and solving hard technical problems in environments where performance and reliability matter.
What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out
This role gives you the chance to work on serious engineering problems with a unique edge. Your primary focus will be building robust systems with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and modern DevOps automation, but the team also operates in the offensive cyber space. For engineers with a background or real interest in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, or security-focused development, this role offers the chance to apply strong engineering discipline to complex cyber challenges.
At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your contributions matter. Because we support prime programs, our teams stay close to meaningful mission work with real momentum. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this becomes more than another software role. It is a chance to build modern mission platforms while working alongside teams tackling real security problems.
Here's What Your Day-to-Day Could Include
  • Develop and maintain large-scale, distributed web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python
  • Architect scalable microservices and backend systems that support high-performance data processing and communication
  • Use DevOps automation and Infrastructure as Code to deploy and manage services in commercial cloud environments
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to support secure, reliable software delivery
  • Collaborate with security researchers to apply engineering best practices to offensive cyber and vulnerability research efforts
  • Work directly with users and analysts to improve tooling and mission capabilities
  • Help shape software architecture in environments that demand scalability, resilience, and operational reliability

Minimum Qualifications
  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
  • 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a Bachelor's degree

Required Skills
  • Professional software development experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
  • Knowledge of building and maintaining enterprise-grade, distributed web applications and system architectures
  • Experience with DevOps automation, cloud service providers such as AWS, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
  • Knowledge of modern software engineering principles including version control, testing frameworks, and Agile workflows
  • Experience with high-side development environments and non-attributed network configurations

Desired Skills
  • Experience or interest in offensive cyber operations, vulnerability research, and software reverse engineering
  • Knowledge of Android application architecture and experience or interest in mobile vulnerability research
  • Experience with low-level programming in C or C++
  • Experience using debuggers such as gdb or similar tools
Compensation Range: $142,000.00 - $182,000.00
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate's background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
