Slitter Operator
Location: Canton, MI Shift: 1st (6am- 2:30pm) M-F Pay: $21-23/hr
Job Summary
Are you an experienced Slitter Operator who takes pride in precision and quality? Weโ€™re looking for a motivated professional to join our team in Canton, MI. In this role, youโ€™ll operate slitters to process steel coils safely and efficiently, ensuring every cut meets exact customer specifications. If you bring both skill and energy to your work, youโ€™ll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Slitter Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Operating Slitter Machines: Set up, run, and monitor slitting equipment to process steel coils accurately.
  • Inspecting Finished Product: Verify dimensions and quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining Equipment: Perform basic maintenance and cleaning to keep machines running efficiently.
In addition, you will also be expected to assist with material handling and packaging tasks to support the overall production flow.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience operating slitting machines in a steel or metals manufacturing environment (required)
