You’ll represent Hatch on-site, building strong relationships with clients, local authorities, contractors, and partners—while leading a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead with Purpose: Oversee all on-site functions, including health & safety, quality assurance, construction supervision, field engineering, project controls, contract administration, and materials management.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day site operations, facilities, and services to keep projects on track.
  • Be the Face of Hatch: Maintain strong client relationships and foster trust with local communities.
  • Ensure Compliance: Guarantee adherence to all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Champion Safety & Quality: Set the tone for a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Lead Meetings & Communication: Chair contractor kick-offs, progress reviews, and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
  • Develop Talent: Build and mentor a capable site team, ensuring performance and accountability.
What You Bring
  • A degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with 15–20 years in managing large-scale industrial construction projects.
  • Proven leadership in remote or challenging environments, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in planning, organization, and contract management, with sharp business acumen.
  • Ability to build trust with clients and communities and manage industrial relations effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) processes and project interfaces.
  • Mobility to work at remote sites on a rotation basis.
  • Postgraduate studies in project or construction management are an asset.
  • Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions
