EK SERVICES INC. is an underground utility contractor seeking

TRI-Axle And Single-Axle TRUCK DRIVERS!
TRUCK DRIVER POSITION SUMMARY: A truck driver at E.K. is responsible for operating commercial vehicles and should have the ability to operate a single axle. Drivers must ensure all materials are secured and obey all state and federal regulations. Eligible candidates will actively work with crew to meet production goals and uphold the company's core values. This position requires the truck driver to also provide manual labor assistance to the crews.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete accurate pre and post trip inspections in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Operate equipment to load, or unload material
  • Haul materials (stone, asphalt, dirt) and ensure all materials are secured properly
  • Comply with all federal and state laws
  • Maintain a current DOT Medical Card
  • Drives responsibly and be aware of surroundings at all times
  • Keep equipment, interior and exterior clean
  • Drivers will assist with site preparation and labor as a member of the crew


EDUCATION/TRAINING: Requires high school level education (or equivalent); must have ability to use basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplications, division), must have a valid Class A or B Commercial Drivers License, Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements a plus.


EXPERIENCE: Two to five years commercial driving experience; with one YEAR as dump truck preferred.

  • Possess a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License, minimally a Class B required
  • Manual transmission experience a plus
