Job description

HBR (Host, Busser, Runner)

Job Summary:

We are a rapidly growing restaurant looking for Hosts, Bussers and Runners (HBR) to enhance our company.

We are looking for creative, motivated people with the ability to work in a fast-paced and teamwork-oriented environment. You will need to be organized, have basic serving skills, communicative, high energy and have a positive attitude. You will report to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Front of the House Managers. This position requires nights and weekends each month.

Requirements:

  • Be able to be on your feet for 4-10 hours.
  • Knowledge of service standards.
  • Be able to lift and carry 10-20 lbs.
  • Obtain state approved food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
  • Estimate wait times for guests and seating guests.
  • Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
  • Refill beverages at tables
  • Help deliver food to tables and distribute food to proper seat positions
  • Pre-bussing tables/clearing and cleaning tables after guests leave the restaurant
  • Take full garbage cans to the dumpsters and emptying trash into the dumpsters
  • Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, etc.
