Job description

Swing Shuttle Driver needs to be flexible and available to work 12pm-until shift and 4pm-until shifts and available on Saturday. Swing driver fills in for bulk and shuttle drivers. Some delivery is required.
Job Summary: The Shuttle Driver is responsible for driving tractor trailer and shuttling product from their home branch warehouse to satellite locations and dropping product. Relief Shuttle driver will also be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse under the General Warehouse job description while not performing shuttle driver duties.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do.
  • Drive a tractor trailer or other company owned vehicles and deliver product to satellite branches as needed.
  • Load and unload products using electric pallet jacks.
  • Pick up unused product, drink flats, empty totes, and pallets, from satellite branch to transport to home branch for disposition.
  • Occasional transport of BBG products is required
  • Collect money from satellite branch to transport to home branch for deposit.

Physical Demands:
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently
  • Able to push/pull a cart weighing up to 260 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Work Environment:
  • Drive company owned vehicle to different locations
  • Work in warehouse with no temperature controls.
  • Exposed to heat and cold temperatures.

  • Valid Class A driver's license and approved driving record.
  • DOT medical card required.
