Job Summary
Summary
Responsible for operating a shuttle bus and/or passenger coach-type vehicle. Reports to the Supervisor of Transportation (or to a designated individual in the Supervisor's absence).
Does this position require Patient Care?

Essential Functions
-Provide safe, courteous, and professional service to passengers while on route to/from destinations.
-Follow established routes and departure times. Communicates with dispatch for guidance on any detours/delays.
-Operates vehicles in accordance with Mass General Brigham Fleet Safety Program Policies and Procedures, as well as in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
-Ensures adherence to passenger limits for both seated and standing passengers.
-Assists passengers with disabilities and others needing assistance in boarding and disembarking from the vehicle via the wheelchair lift.
-Reports any emergencies/concerns with the vehicle and/or passengers immediately to the Supervisor and/or Dispatcher.
-Safely transports passengers to various destinations while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
-Adheres to assignments in accordance with scheduled shuttle routes prepared by the Manager, Supervisor, and/or Dispatcher.
