Vehicle Shuttle Driver
Road & Rail Services
Location: Georgetown, Kentucky
Employment Type: Full-time, on-site
Hourly Pay:
A Shift: $17.00 per hour
B Shift: $17.50 per hour
Start Your Career in Vehicle Operations
Road & Rail Services is seeking dependable drivers to support vehicle-handling operations at our Georgetown facility. Vehicle Shuttle Drivers are responsible for transporting newly produced vehicles from the manufacturing area to designated storage and staging locations.
This is a physically active job performed primarily outdoors. Employees walk throughout the facility, enter and exit vehicles frequently, and remain exposed to seasonal weather conditions. It may be a good fit for someone who enjoys driving, staying active, and working in a team-based environment.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Transport new vehicles between production, storage, and staging areas.
  • Operate vehicles carefully while following posted routes and site traffic rules.
  • Place each vehicle in its assigned parking space.
  • Check vehicles for noticeable damage or other concerns before and after movement.
  • Record vehicle locations and complete required inventory documentation.
  • Coordinate with coworkers and supervisors to support production flow.
  • Walk an estimated three to five miles during the workday.
  • Enter and exit different vehicles repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Keep assigned areas clean and organized.
  • Comply with all customers, facility, and company safety requirements.
  • Complete other vehicle-handling duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Current and valid state-issued driver's license.
Ability to drive and park vehicles safely and accurately.
Willingness to work outside in changing conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and direct sunlight.
Ability to walk several miles and frequently enter and exit vehicles.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to understand and follow specific driving, parking, and safety directions.
Strong attention to surroundings while working in a busy operational facility.
Cooperative attitude and ability to contribute to a team.
