How much does a property manager make per rental?

A weekend short-term rental property manager typically earns a fee based on a percentage of each rental's revenue, often ranging from 10% to 20%. The exact amount depends on the property's location, size, and management agreement, with some managers charging flat fees or additional service charges for maintenance and guest communication.

How much do Airbnb property managers get paid?

Airbnb property managers typically earn between $15 and $50 per hour or a percentage of rental income, often around 20-30%. Compensation varies based on location, experience, and the scope of management services provided, such as guest communication, cleaning coordination, and pricing optimization.

How to get into managing short-term rentals?

To become a weekend short-term rental property manager, gain experience in hospitality, customer service, or real estate, and develop skills in property maintenance, communication, and scheduling. Familiarity with property management software and local regulations is also beneficial. Starting with managing a few properties or working for a property management company can provide practical experience.

Do property managers have to work weekends?

Weekend short term rental property managers often work weekends because guest check-ins, check-outs, and maintenance requests typically occur during those times. Flexibility in scheduling is common, and some managers may work weekends regularly while others may have designated days off depending on their employer or rental platform policies.
