Server Job Description: FINE DINING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Position Title: Server
Reports To: General Manager
Department: Front of House
Job Summary:
The Server is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking guest orders accurately
and efficiently, and ensuring the dining experience is seamless and memorable for guests. The
Server must have a strong knowledge of the menu and beverage options, work efficiently and
effectively to deliver high-quality service to guests, and maintain a clean and organized dining
area.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional guest service to ensure a memorable dining experience for guests.
  • Take guest orders accurately and efficiently and ensure timely delivery of food and

beverages. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and
timely delivery of food. Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the menu,
specials, and beverage options. Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and special
requests, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining

area and performing cleaning tasks.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills / Abilities / Competencies:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be physically able to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours a day.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Requires maintenance of the dining area, including moving tables and chairs.
