Job description

As a Restaurant Server on the Front-of-House Team, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Manager, you will primarily work varied dinner and weekend shifts, greeting guests promptly, accurately taking and serving orders, and maintaining a clean and organized section. This role offers opportunity for advancement to Lead Server or Management.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly with a friendly attitude and seat or acknowledge them quickly.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them efficiently into the POS system.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, verifying accuracy before delivery.
  • Check back with guests shortly after serving to ensure satisfaction and address needs.
  • Keep drinks refilled and clear empty plates in a timely manner.
  • Remain attentive to tables at all times and anticipate customer needs proactively.
  • Resolve minor concerns immediately and escalate serious issues to management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized section including tables, chairs, floors, and service stations.
  • Complete all assigned side work before ending your shift.
  • Collaborate with team members by assisting with running food, pre-bussing, and seating.
  • Follow all restaurant policies regarding food safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
  • Thank every guest sincerely and invite them to return.
