Morrisville Receptionist
Shift is 7p-7a Saturday and Sunday
Job Summary:
Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders. Security personnel will perform job duties with a
constant awareness of surroundings, making note of activity that takes place in the assigned area.
Security Officers must maintain a professional image and always demonstrate excellent customer
service.
Basic Functions:
โ€ข
Control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
โ€ข Patrol of buildings and perimeters.
โ€ข Logging of visitors and vehicles
โ€ข Escort of material and personnel.
โ€ข Inspection of security and fire exposures.
โ€ข Special assignments.
Special Considerations: Officers must be willing able to work in challenging weather conditions to
include heat, cold, wind and rain. Standing for extended periods of time will be required at certain
points.
Responsibilities:
All responsibilities are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner and in accordance
with client and/or Andy Frain policies and procedures. Responsibilities may vary from location to location but will typically consist of the following:
โ€ข Report for duty on time and in full uniform.
โ€ข Maintain professional image that includes greeting customers, visitors and employees in a polite and friendly manner.
โ€ข Guard the entrance the facility and grounds, warehouse, or other property to control traffic to and from buildings and grounds
โ€ข Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas
โ€ข Verify employee credentials or approved roster before admitting anyone entry to the property
โ€ข Directs visitors and truck drivers to various parts of grounds or buildings
โ€ข Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as theft, equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences
โ€ข Answer telephone calls and maintain log books
โ€ข Be proactive in knowing all revisions to post orders and general information distributed by the customer and AFS.
โ€ข Patrol physical property or maintain fixed post position, being diligent to report any suspicious activity and investigate accidents and criminal acts.
โ€ข Monitor cameras or equipment in a continuous fashion as outlined in the post orders.
โ€ข Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations to be able to respond to alarms, incidents and emergency situations.
โ€ข Complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Book entries, Incident Reports and all relevant reports related to job assignment.
โ€ข Make recommendations to management on better safety and loss prevention processes as identified during daily routine.
โ€ข Ensure training and compliance guidelines are met as outlined by AFS and other agencies regulating the customer / market.
โ€ข Communicate on a daily basis with Security Supervisor any new Security Issues or changes that need to be considered or implemented.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum Qualifications:

based upon the department size and/or geographic location.
โ€ข High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
โ€ข Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
โ€ข Minimum 3 - 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems, or access computer systems.
โ€ข State Guard license is required.
โ€ข Pass a regulated drug test (where required).
