Job description

Site Security Supervisor
We are seeking a dependable and professional Site Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at our facility. This position will supervise three Security Guards working daily 8-hour shifts, as well as weekend security personnel, and will be responsible for ensuring the facility remains safe and secure.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise, schedule, and provide direction to Security Guards.
  • Ensure appropriate security coverage for daily and weekend operations.
  • Monitor the employee entrance and ensure all individuals entering the facility are authorized to be on company property.
  • Ensure employees follow required iris/eye-scan procedures when entering the facility.
  • Conduct routine walks of the property to ensure gates, doors, and other access points are closed, locked, and secure.
  • Monitor for suspicious or unauthorized activity and respond appropriately to security concerns.
  • Work closely with Human Resources and Safety management regarding security-related matters.
  • Escort employees from company property when requested by Human Resources or management.
  • Respond to security incidents and document or report concerns as necessary.
  • Ensure Security Guards follow company policies and established security procedures.

Qualifications
  • Previous security experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and calm in difficult situations.
  • Dependable and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly patrol the facility and property.
  • Must be available to respond to security staffing or facility needs as required.
