About the position:

  • Title: Unarmed Security Officer
  • Location: Carteret, NJ 07008
  • Employment type: Part-Time
    • Shift: Saturday-Sunday 
  • $19.00 per hour
  • TWIC Card required; if you do not currently have one, you will be required to get
  • Daily pay; get paid as soon as the NEXT DAY!
This position requires the use of a company vehicle, and all applicants must be able to pass a Department of Motor Vehicles check. All applicants must be over 21 and have a valid driver's license.

Security Officer Responsibilities:

  • Access Control 
  • Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety 
  • Patrol assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities 
  • Theft and vandalism deterrence 
  • Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment 
  • Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete 
  • Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform 
  • Perform other related duties as required 

Qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum 21 years of age 
  • Basic computer skills and report-writing experience 
  • Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays 
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check 
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies 

Pay and Benefits:

  • Salary: $19.00 per hour
