Job description

Central Security Agency, a licensed and highly respected security firm operating in Chicago, is currently seeking professional Armed Security Officer/Drivers to join our growing team. This position involves patrolling client properties, ensuring safety, and driving company vehicles as part of security operations.

Job Description:

  • 21+ years of age
  • Clean driving record/No tickets or moving Violations
  • Armed CREDENTIALS (FOID card, 40 HR Armed Training Certificate, recent firearm requalification)
  • Handcuff certification
  • Must have a valid Driver's License (Active for the last two years)
  • High School Diploma, GED/Transcripts preferred
  • 2 Plus years of experience as a Security Officer is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of following complex instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screening, background investigation, and psychological screening
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures
  • Must be able to work weekends and or holidays
  • Ability to be trained to company standards
  • Must have open availability to work any shift

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
  • Maintain professional demeanor and deliver excellent customer service
  • Adhere to all company service and operating standards by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly, and professionally always
  • Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
  • Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
  • Follow all client site specific duties, as required and outlined in post-orders
  • Operate agency vehicles for patrol and incident response
  • Provide high-visibility security presence at client sites
  • Patrol designated locations by foot and/or vehicle
  • Monitor and report suspicious activity or safety hazards
  • Complete incident reports and documentation accurately and on time
  • Communicate with supervisors and dispatch as needed
  • Assist with emergency response and de-escalation, if necessary

  • PERC Card (Expiration Date of 5/31/2027)
  • FOID Card
  • 20 Hour Unarmed Certificate (Original Document)
  • 40 Hour Firearm Certificate (Original Document)
  • Photo I.D.
  • Social Security Card or Birth Certificate
