Unarmed Security Officer - Logistics ( Weekends )

Security Solutions of America is seeking dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Officers to join our team at a busy logistics center. In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment and ensuring efficient access control at the truck gate. We're looking for individuals who can seamlessly blend security protocols with excellent customer service.

Schedule: Saturday - Sunday

Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 7am-3pm

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Responsibilities:
  • Access Control: Manage and monitor the truck gate, verifying credentials for all incoming and outgoing vehicles and personnel.
  • Logistics Operations: Understand and support the flow of a logistics environment, including directing traffic, managing dock appointments, and coordinating with logistics staff.
  • CCTV Monitoring: Operate and monitor Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems to identify and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
  • Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous assistance to truck drivers, visitors, and employees while enforcing security policies.
  • Incident Response: Respond to alarms and emergency situations, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company and client safety regulations and procedures.
