BSG is seeking dedicated Campus Residential Security Officers for a prestigious private university in Oakland. The primary responsibility is to ensure access control of residence halls through high visibility, deterrence, patrols, and community engagement. Officers are expected to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and visitors, promoting a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include acting as first responders to emergencies, monitoring security, communications, and fire/life safety systems, accurately documenting events, and enforcing campus residential rules.
Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail, and the capability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not required.
