Job description

Security Officer

Pay: $18.50-$22.50/hour

Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend is required, and candidates must be available for five days of paid training!

1st shift- 7AM-3:30PM

2nd shift- 3PM-11:30PM

3rd shift- 11PM- 7:30AM

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff
  • Conduct scheduled indoor and outdoor security rounds
  • Respond to fire alarms and emergency calls
  • Monitor employee and contractor presence
  • Perform light maintenance tasks as needed
  • Maintain security equipment and supplies
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license is required, and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of security experience is required
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, follow instructions, and work well under pressure

Employment is also contingent upon successfully completing a background screening, drug screening, TB blood test, and physical exam.
