Job description

On Call Security Officer

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking an On Call Security Officer to join our exceptional team. In this role, you will help create a safe and secure environment for our guests, employees, and resort community while delivering service with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. As a valued member of our Security team, you will provide on-call support as needed, playing an important role in upholding Four Seasons standards and maintaining a welcoming, secure resort environment.

What you will do:

  • Handle security inquiries and requests from guests and personnel in a timely manner. Key assists, safe assists, lost and found, noise complaints, animal and critter removal and relocation.
  • Respond to all emergencies; medical, fire, storms, power outages, criminal activity, hazardous material exposure, civil disorder, bomb threats, death or suicide, and lost persons in an immediate timely manner. Take prompt action to initiate the emergency response system and coordinate with appropriate emergency responders and associate officers.
  • Support office operations, CCTV cameras, telephones and emergency lines, radio communications, fire panel, employee key distribution and control.
  • Write and provide precise accurate documentation in incident reports and logs. Conduct follow up investigations to include statements, photographs, video footage, and communication to the Director of Security and the Executive Management team.
  • Patrol property for fire, life and safety. Provide documentation and follow up with appropriate Department heads and managers when necessary.
  • Support high standards for safety. Perform period safety walks. Document and report violation and potential risks.

What you bring:

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience as a security officer preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment. Previous position in law enforcement or comparable is a plus.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English. Spanish speaking proficiency is a plus.
  • Previous experience writing/reporting accident documentation reports preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite preferred.
  • Ability to act professionally and remain impartial in all circumstances regarding guests and employees.
  • Knowledge of local laws preferred.
  • Valid authorization to work in the United States
