Job description

Job titles in this category require strong administrative and secretarial skills to support department operations. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, calendars, office files, reports, mail, phone calls, appointments, meeting minutes, presentations, and event planning.

Administrative Assistant
Clerk/Typist
Data Entry Clerk
Secretary I, II, III
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED/TASC required
  • Strong clerical skills such as: Typing-Ability to type 45 to 55 wpm, Computer skills such as Word and Excel, excellent customer service and great writing skills

Schedule
  • All positions are in hospitals and nursing homes. These facilities are open 24 hours/7 days each week.
  • General shift availability:
    • Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p)
    • Evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a)
    • Nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a)
    • *Clerical positions typically work 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
  • Every other weekend is usually required for all positions.

COVID-19 vaccination is required.
Most positions include a comprehensive Union benefits package and competitive salaries.
