Job description

***Weekend shift Friday - Sunday, 4:45am - 5:15pm***
***Weekend shift is eligible for a 10% shift differential on base pay***
*** Effective June 1, 2026 Sign-On Bonus: $4000. Paid out: 1st half 30 days, and 2nd half in 60 days once on Modern's payroll.***
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Processes stainless steel and aluminum parts for the Semiconductor and Aerospace industries utilizing metal finishing processes such as plating
  • Ensures waste treatment and environmental compliance using established methods of chemistry.
  • Assists in equipment maintenance as required.
  • Must be able to follow written, oral direction and demonstrated procedures involving the safe and logical transfer of liquid and solid chemicals used in metal finishing.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Basic nickel plating knowledge/skills
  • Ability to unmask and clean

Education and Experience:
  • High school education or GED equivalent.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Ideal candidates have 0-2 years' experience in metal finishing processes such as cleaning, anodization, plating etc.
